Standards are developed with Accréditation Sans Frontières (Paris), a separate legal entity in alliance with PHIG; the programme is delivered in collaboration with SheniEkimi.
What the certificate is — and is not
SheniEkimi Certification is an independent, voluntary quality and safety mark for providers in Georgia, assessed against seven patient-journey standards, and a verification of health professionals’ profiles with CPD/CME records. It is the first, accessible rung of the PHIG network’s quality ladder. It is not an ISO certification, not an ISQua or Accreditation Canada accreditation, not a state licence or state certification, and it does not replace any legally required authorisation. Readiness packs and full accreditation are available through Accréditation Sans Frontières and Accreditation Canada in Georgia. Facilities already accredited by Accreditation Canada or JCI are recognised automatically.
Impartiality, fees and appeals
Fees pay for assessment work, never for a result; assessors declare conflicts of interest under PHIG Policy 01; no advertising or sponsorship from assessed providers is accepted. Any applicant may appeal a decision or complain under Policy 34 (acknowledged in 5 working days, answered in 30, appeal to the Chair). Data, licence, governance
Personal data of applicants and professionals are processed under Policy 05 and the PHIG privacy policy; professionals may request correction or removal of their profile at the address above. Certificate records are retained for verification. PHIG’s own content is CC BY 4.0; the SheniEkimi mark may be displayed only by holders of a valid certificate.
